Eagles’ Wings Food Pantry
Our heart is to reach out and help the needy in our community through providing food, (Matthew 25:34-40), spreading the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (John 3:16), and building personal relationships inside and outside the church through serving in love. (1 John 3:11, 16-18).
DIARY: April 10th -
We received our first order from The Food Bank of Northern Nevada yesterday! Curtis and Suzanne Kimbrel, Ann Vitale and Cynthia Fleiner had a joyful time processing the food into our pantry and freezers! We were immediately able to bless 2 needy families with some milk and breakfast sandwiches, and The Tahoe Indian Parish with a tray of bread. The most amazing part is the entire pallet of food we received only cost about $31. What an affordable and tangible way to help people! Not only are we giving people food in difficult times, we offer prayer and we are building relationships.PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION
BY PHONE RESERVATION ONLY...
Until we can estimate the need, we are requiring reservations for food BY EACH TUESDAY. Just leave your name and message saying you want to reserve a box of food (one box per household, each distribution day)on the church Food Pantry phone:

Reserved food may be picked up the FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAYS EACH MONTH, starting MAY 3rd.
Distribution will take place at the church on the designated Sundays from 1pm to 2pm only. Personal prayer will also be available on distribution days.

OUR FUTURE: The vision God has given us is to eventually expand the Food Pantry Ministry to include other arms of outreach.
Right now, we are working to do small things in a GREAT way!
God's training ground for greater things is everything that is before us right now. These things may seem small compared to the promises we have been given and are believing for, but our willingness to do them in a "great way" is the key to opening the door to these promises.
